Kofi Kington beat Drew McIntyre to retain the I-C Title. After the match, Matt Hardy did the deal where he runs in through the crowd, attacks Drew, and leaves through the crowd. As Drew was leaving, Matt came out and jumped him again. Said to be a good opener. Crowd was really into Kofi.
Christian and MVP beat Luke Gallows and The Masked SES Guy
Kane beat CM Punk. Tony Chimel announced Punk as from the home of the Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks.
The Miz beat R-Truth, Evan Bourne, and Mark Henry in a four-way to retain the US Title. Same type of finish as Raw with Bourne hitting the Shooting Star Press on Truth, and Miz stealing the pin.
Jack Swagger beat Big Show in a No DQ Match to retain the World Heavyweight Title. Kane interfered and choke slammed Show. Swagger got the pin, and then got a choke slam from Kane and a KO punch from Show after the match. Can they possibly bury Swagger a little more?
Eve Torres and The Bella Twins beat Maryse, Michelle McCool, and Layla. Santino was the guest referee. Crowd shit on the match with “This is boring” and “This is stupid” chants. Eve pinned Maryse with a spinning neckbreaker. Match was a mess.
Randy Orton beat Edge. Pretty short match. Orton was super over. He won clean with an RKO.
John Cena beat Sheamus to retain the WWE Title. Cena got his usual mixed reaction from the MSG crowd. Typical solid house show main event. Cena got the win with the Attitude Adjustment. Then the NXT guys hit the ring to attack Cena. Orton, Bourne, Henry, Kingston, R-Truth, and Edge made the save, and ran off the NXT guys. Edge left and the faces celebrated together to end the show.
Cena then did a promo putting over NYC and the fans, and said something about seeing everyone at Wrestlemania 30. So I guess WM 30 will be at MSG in 2014.
