Smith broke his arm over the weekend while playing a game of flag football at a youth camp he was hosting.
The Panthers aren’t worried about Smith missing any regular season games, but they don’t think he’ll be ready to go by the start of training camp on July 28th.
Smith had surgery on Sunday to repair the break. Smith broke the same arm last season, but this break occured in a different place.
