After taking a day off from practice to protest the expulsion of teammate Nicolas Anelka, France returned to the pitch today.
Anelka was thrown out because his clash with Domenech at halftime of last Thursday’s 2-0 loss to Mexico was made public by sports daily L’Equipe.
On Sunday the french players didn’t take part in practice to protest leading to an argument between captain Patrice Evra and the team’s trainer. The altercation lead to the head of French Football to resign because he felt the team was a disgrace to the country.
