Despite claims to the contrary, Strikeforce spokesperson Mike Afromowitz told MMAJunkie earlier today that a deal has not been signed, despite “numerous reports of the supposed signing popped up this morning after TMZ.com issued a story quoting Bautista as having a deal.”
Inside Pulse Wrestling reported earlier this morning that Batista had confirmed (in a video with TMZ) that a deal was in place. According to reports Afromowitz and MMAJunkie, informal talks have occurred, but “no such deal is imminent”.
