Yahoo! Sports reported that Anthony was considering signing a 3-year $65 million dollar extension with the Denver Nuggets rather than waiting until next year and being a free agent.
Anthony averaged 28 points and 6 rebounds a game last year for the Nuggets and would be the grand prize in next season’s free agency (Unless LeBron signs a one year deal this year) if he went that route.
