Abyss comes out to open the show, and Hulk Hogan, with Eric Bischoff in tow, comes out to attack him. Abyss no sells everything, including three chairshots, but falls to a Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb from Jeff Hardy.
Abyss can be an effective monster if they didn’t damage him too much already.
The Motor City Machine Guns defeat Ink Inc. Brother Ray tried to interfere, but was stopped by D-Vonn leading to an argument.
I guess this is to show MCMG really deserve their title shot.
Samoa Joe makes AJ Styles submit. After the match AJ argues with Ric Flair and Kaz, getting a match with Kazarian next week.
I want to see this Joe vs. AJ match. They have amazing chemistry.
The Pope returns to say he wants a shot at RVD for the TNA Title. This draws out Kurt Angle and we get Pope vs. Angle for Victory Road.
I have no idea if that will be good, but the promos will be.
Brian Kendrick defeats Desmond Wolfe via Submission. Chelsea left Wolfe mid-match and Doug Williams was on commentary.
This is quite the huge push for Kendrick.
Jay Lethal calls out Ric Flair and AJ Styles, but gets Fortune Stable Member Matt Morgan in a match. Hernandez hits a low blow on Morgan to help Lethal win.
This match has potential, but will need to happen with a program, not as a throwaway.
Madison Rayne defeats Taylor Wilde. Tommy Dreamer, Raven, Rhino and Stevie Richards show up during the match to sit at ringside.
Without RVD, this stable cannot succeed.
Sarita jumps Taylor Wilde.
I might care more if Wilde was a threat to Rayne.
Dixie Carter and Eric Bischoff suspend Sting for 30-days.
Can we just fire him instead?
Jeff Hardy defeats Abyss via Swanton with Jeff Hardy as special guest referee. Abyss attacks post-match, laying out Hardy, RVD, and Ken Anderson.
Does Anderson ever do anything effective?
