At the conclusion of the issue, Mikaal Tomas has flown to the moon, and found an emerald citadel. With a giant crystal floating above it, and constructs resembling Alan Scott in various looks flying about, it even has oxygen. Mikaal is caught and assaulted, but a blast from behind sets him up for the last shot.
When the deaged Alan in his Kingdom Come armor rips the gem from Mikaal’s chest for the cliffhanger.
