WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat Hospitalized (not kayfabe)

News

Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com is reporting that Ricky Steamboat was hospitalized after suffering a brain aneurysm last night in Tampa, and that his condition is stable after previously being in intensive care with bleeding in his brain. This is not a worked storyline angle, although he did legit neck and head pain coming out of his Monday performance (while the cracked ribs portion of WWE’s online story were storyline).

The Nexus angle was pulled from WWE’s YouTube page as well, says Meltzer, as well as “he is expected to be hospitalized for some time.” WWE.com is calling his condition good to excellent, but either way, we wish him a quick and full recovery.
