Andrew Garfield is going to be playing the role, the 26 year old wound up getting the job that just a few days ago I reported was going to 17 year old Josh Hutcherson. Garfield is hardly a household name, and looking at this filmography the only thing I’ve even heard of is The Social Network, which is due for release later this year. He has a look that I could see working for the role, and while some might complain about his age, Tobey was the same age when he became Peter Parker. Should be interesting.
