New York Yankees Promote Dustin Moseley

News

The Yankees have announced that they are promoting Dustin Moseley from Triple A. In a corresponding move, they are sending down lefty reliever Boone Logan.

I’d say it’s a questionable move, as Moseley was 4-4 with a 4.21 ERA in 12 starts in THE MINORS; Logan, on the other hand, was 0-0 with a 3.93 ERA in the Major League bullpen.

Girardi justified the move by saying he likes Moseley’s potential to pitch a lot of innings.

I don’t know about you, but I tend to like the guy with better stats AT A HIGHER LEVEL. Granted, Moseley did have an opt out date on his contract and there were teams inquiring on him. I’d have seen what I could have gotten.
