Ulises Solis Dominates Eric Ortiz

Ulises Solis battered Eric Ortiz on his way to a unanimous decision victory on Saturday night in Reno, Nevada. Solis (31-2-2, 21 KOs), a former light flyweight world champion, dropped Ortiz (31-11-3, 20 KOs) three times in the latter rounds of the fight and won with scores of 98-89, 98-89, and 99-88.

On the undercard, Mark Melligen (19-2, 13 KOs) of the Philippines scored a unanimous decision over Anges Adjaho (17-3, 9 KOs) in a bout that was more competitive than the scores of 99-91, 98-92, and 97-93 indicated.
