Official Teaser Poster for Let Me In

Those who love to look at one-sheets, this is sure to interest you. Empire has debuted the first poster for Matt Reeves’ Let Me In, the American adaptation of the novel Let the Right One In. For those who never saw the 2008 Swedish film, this poster leaves a lot to the imagination. But for those who have seen the original film, it isn’t anything special.

A bullied young boy (Kodi Smit-McPhee) befriends a young vampire girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) who lives with her guardian.

Matt Reeves, who made his feature directorial debut with the J.J. Abrams’ produced Cloverfield, pulls double duty as writer and director for this American adaptation of the Swedish novel Låt den rätte komma (Let the Right One In). Tomas Alfredson’s 2008 Swedish film Let the Right One In has a Certified Fresh rating of 97% at Rotten Tomatoes and lauded Hoyte Van Hoytema’s cinematography, giving it top honors in its “Top 10 Shots of 2008” article.

Overture Films is bringing Let Me In to theaters everywhere starting October 1st. If the poster doesn’t make you want to see, check out the international trailer below:
