Davey Richards has issued a (kayfabe) challenge for Roderick Strong to put up his title shot at the July 16th set of HDNet tapings in South Philadelphia. The Newswire was unclear whether Richards is challenging Strong for his title shot due to his Pick 6 Series ranking (Strong is currently ranked #1) or due to his winning the Second Annual Toronto Gauntlet at Death Before Dishonor VIII.
Richards is not the only one going after Strong’s title shot, as a Pick 6 Series match between Colt Cabana and Roderick Strong has been scheduled for the July 23rd show in Collinsville, IL.
Sara del Rey vs. Amazing Kong, in a rematch from Supercard of Honor V, has been scheduled for ROH’s July 24th Chicago show.
ROH will post an article on its website regarding Tag Wars 2010. The article will explain the concept and reveal the cities impacted.
