Urijah Faber Out of WEC 50 with Knee Injury

Due to make his debut at 135 lbs., Urijah Faber will have to wait a bit longer. Faber, the former WEC Featherweight champion been forced out of his upcoming August 18 bout against Takeya Mizugaki due to a knee injury suffered during training, according to a report at MMA Weekly. A short while ago, Faber also posted a message via his personal Twitter page confirming the fight with Mizugaki was off.

According to MMA Weekly, “Faber suffered a slight knee injury during training” and should not need surgery. The crew here at Inside Fights wishes him a speedy recovery.
