In DC’s announcement of Spring 2011 collected editions it was revealed that February 2011 brings with it John Ostrander’s opening Suicide Squad arc from 1986/87 in trade paperback form. And, it also comes with Secret Origins #14 which explained the team’s secret history. Sweet!

One Fan’s Thoughts
Hopefully, if sales warrant, this will be the beginning of many trade paperbacks of this excellent comic book series. While I have all the issues, I imagine the colour touch-ups in the trade paperbacks will be worth the price of admission…. Well, I hope the colours will be remastered.
This is also a nice show of confidence from DC since this run was originally planned to get the phonebook-sized black and white “Showcase” treatment.
This offering also flows nicely from Gail Simone and John Ostander’s recent collaboration on Secret Six which also including a heavy Suicide Squad presence.
