MMA Weekly is reporting that World Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo to next defend his title at WEC 51 against Manny Gamburyan, with both fighters having verbally agreed to the match. While the champion is on a fearsome seven-fight win streak in the promotion, former The Ultimate Fighter contestant Gamburyan has won all three of his past fights at 145Ibs.
It also likely that the co-main event of the September 30th event will be former bantamweight champion Miguel Torres making his return against Charlie Valencia.
