NBA News: Cleveland Cavaliers Center Zydrunas Ilgauskas Set To Join Miami Heat

Let’s just rename the Miami Heat as “The Cleveland South Cavaliers” and then everyone is happy.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas’ agents said that as soon as Lebron James signed with the Heat, he began trying to lure Ilgauskas there as well. Ilgauskas said he felt it was his best chance to win a championship.

For his career, Ilgauskas has averaged 13.8 points and 7.7 rebounds, plus has played in two All-Star Games.

Ilgauskas was traded to the Wizards last season, but they released him and he re-signed with the Cavs.

Ilgauskas gives the Heat a shot blocking threat on the inside to help out some of the defensive weaknesses in the All-Star Trio.
