Today DC’s The Source blog posted a teaser image and the title “What is October’s Return of the Black Lanterns?”
Now let’s break this down. We’ve got Black Lantern versions of Firestorm, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, and Deadman. And, not to mention, the piece has the very apparent David Finch signature.
So what we’re looking at is the regular cast of Brightest Day, drawn by the cover artist of Brightest Day, which just tells me that this is what’s going to be happening in Brightest Day in October.
Either way, I’m really looking forward to it as I really enjoyed Blackest Night!
