NBA News: Al Harrington Agrees To Contract With Denver Nuggets

News

The Nuggets outbid the Dallas Mavericks for Harrington.

The Nuggets and Harrington have reportedly agreed to a 5-year $34 million deal to give the Nuggets some depth in the front court. Depth that is greatly needed since Kenyon Martin and Chris Anderson are both underwent surgical operations and are expected to miss time at the start of the season.

Harrington averaged almost 18 points and 6 rebounds last season for the New York Knicks.

The Nuggets felt pressure to ad Harrington after they lost out on Jermaine O’Neal and Udonis Haslem.
