With the final season of Smallville fast approaching, the creators are really amping up the show for its final sendoff. We’ve already got the return of Pa Kent in the works, but there was no way that would be all they had in store.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Laura Vandervoort is set to return for an episode this October. Vandervoort is now a main cast member on ABC’s remake of V, but given that both V and Smallville share a production company it wasn’t apparently much effort to get her on the show for an episode.
Vandervoort is best known to Smallville fans as Kara Zor-El, Clark’s Kryptonian cousin. Comic fans best know the character as Supergirl, the Girl of Steel. Apparently her last appearance in Smallville saw her leaving to try and find Kandor.
Smallville returns September 24th on the CW.
