MMA Junkie is reporting that the official figures for crowd attendance at UFC 116 was 12,740 in attendance with 9,218 paid. There were 2,194 tickets unsold. The overall live gates was $4,053,990, meaning that paid attendees paid on average $439.79. This is the fifth highest live gate for an UFC event at the MGM Grand Arena and according to the Wrestling Observer the 10th highest in UFC history.

Sherdog and other MMA media outlets are reporting that the Nevada State Athletic Commission has confirmed that all fighters drug tested at UFC 116 have passed their tests. The fighters tested were Brock Lesnar, Shane Carwin, Chris Leben, Yoshihiro Akiyama, Chris Lytle, Matt Brown, Krzysztof Soszynski, Stephan Bonnar, Brendan Schaub, Kendall Grove, Gerald Harris, Ricardo Romero, Jon Madsen, George Sotiropoulos and Daniel Roberts.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that preliminary numbers show that UFC 116 was at least the third most purchased pay per view in UFC history with all trending numbers suggesting that it was a bigger show than UFC 114.
