Chris Camozzi vs. Dong Yi Yang Signed for UFC 121

News

Chris Camozzi and Dong Yi Yang have signed the dotted lines on the contract and will go head-to-head in the octagon October 23rd at UFC 121, reports MMA Torch.

Undefeated in nine fights, Dong Yi Yang (9 Wins, 0 Losses) will be trying to stretch his winning streak to ten when he steps into the octagon for the very first time. Yang has finished every fight he has competed in, ending eight of the nine fights by technical knockout. UFC took action and signed one of Japan’s brightest stars, and Dong Yi Yang is ready to show America what he’s all about. In order to do that, he’ll have to get past his first opponent which will not be an easy task.

Chris Camozzi (13 Wins, 3 Losses) first stepped into the UFC scene during Ultimate Fighter Season 11 when he defeated Victor O’Donnell to earn a spot in the house. Unfortunately during the fight, Camozzi suffered a broken jaw that ultimately forced him to give up his spot on the cast, ending his time on the Ultimate Fighter. He made his return in the Ultimate Fighter 11 Season Finale and beat James Hammortree by way of unanimous decision.

While it is confirmed that this will be a preliminary bout, there is no news on if it will be televised.
