Bachelorette 2010 Spoilers: The Truth Behind Frank's Exit; Would Ali Have Picked Him In The End

Shows

The producers of The Bachelorette will want you to believe that Frank leaving the show for his ex-girlfriend is a total shock. But those close to the show know that Frank had wanted to leave almost from the very beginning.

Frank had told producers about Nicole long before this episode. He wanted to tell Ali about her as far back as NY. But that wouldn’t make for good TV. Essentially Frank knew he wanted to leave for a while, but wasn’t allowed to. It was finally agreed upon that, “Ok Frank, we’ll let you tell Ali about Nicole. But you’ll do it on our terms. You will tell her in Tahiti, and we will film you getting back with Nicole to make it more dramatic.” They let him leave, but not under his circumstances. He was going to do it in a way that would make it the most dramatic exit possible.

If you really believe the first time Frank brought up Nicole to the producers was after he received the rose and found out he was going to Tahiti, you’re not really paying attention to this show and are just blinded by the premise of two people ending up together married.

The producers knew they had the Jessica storyline back home with Justin and waited until after his 2-on-1 with Kasey to play it. They knew as early as New York that there was potential with the Nicole storyline. They just figured having him leave in Tahiti to say he still loved an ex-girlfriend wouldn’t be enough unless they showed him struggling with his feelings and talking to her. That is Bachelor/Bachelorette way. It has never been about love for this show. It’s all about ratings and the fact that there has REALLY only been 1 relationship that has been successful out of 15 or so, should tell you something.

But don’t think that Ali did not care for Frank. She is no actress. Ali really CARED for Frank and seemed really upset. That makes me believe she would have picked Frank in the end, if he hadn’t chose his ex over her.

That is also a little hint for who get the final rose this season, but we will have more on that later.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
