The UFC 121 continues to develop one of the strongest line-ups of the year with MMAWeekly reporting that Paulo Thiago vs. Diego Sanchez will be fighting on October 23rd in an event that will also featured the promotional debut of Jake Shields and the eagerly anticipated World Heavyweight Title match between Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar. Diego Sanchez returned to 170Ibs at UFC 114 and after a disappointing performance en route to losing to John Hathaway was urged by UFC President Dana White to return to 155Ibs. His next welterweight match certainly won’t be any easier with Paulo Thiago having only been defeated by Jon Fitch and Martin Kampmann.
