DC Comics To Relocate From New York To Los Angeles?

News, Site News, Top Story

The L.A. Times did a piece with Geoff Johns the other day talking about DC Comics, movies, Green Lantern, etc, and it was a pretty standard piece. Well, save for the end of his section.

“The biggest challenge for Nelson and Johns may be merging the cultures of the Warner lot in Burbank and the offices of DC, which are in Manhattan but may soon move to L.A.”

DC has been under restructuring for a while now, with moves such as Paul Levitz stepping down as the publisher, Dan DiDio and Jim Le becoming the new publishers as the company became DC Entertainment, and Diane Nelson becoming the President.

Would it be too far fetched for DC to move offices out to Los Angeles to cement their synergy with their parent company, Warner Bros? Craft your comics and your movies in the same house? That could be kinda cool.
