At the Marvel Film Panel last night it was brought up that Marvel Studios has control of the Punisher franchise. Kevin Feige mentioned that they hoped to “bring him back into the fray soon.”
Now, while I am excited to see Frank Castle back in another movie, I can’t help but mention how awesome the 2004 Punisher movie with Thomas Jane was, and how stupid a move it was to not follow-up on it. Warzone wasn’t as horrible as everyone said, but it was still nothing compared to the one that Thomas Jane did. If you haven’t seen it, check it out.
