Strasburgh was scratched from his scheduled start Tuesday night because he was having problems warming up. The Nationals said he had stiffness and discomfort in his shoulder during his warm-up which prompted the team to scratch him from the start.
The Nationals are hoping a few days of rest and anti-inflammatories will get his shoulder back healthy.
Miguel Batista pitched for Strasburgh and picked up the win as the Nationals beat the Braves 3-0.
