The Thrashers aquired Eager earlier this offseason from Chicago and now the sides have avoided going to arbitration.
Terms of the deal were not release although the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting Eager will make $965,000 this season.
Eager played 60 games for the Blackhawks last season, scoring 7 goals with 9 assists and adding a team leading 120 PIM. In 255 NHL regular-season games he has 27 goals and 25 assists.
