Sources on the production side of American Idol are now saying that Jennifer Lopez is signed, sealed and delivered for the Season 10 judges’ table, while Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is still in negotiations. This means an announcement could still happen Monday (Aug. 2) at FOX’s Summer Press Tour executive panel.
If a deal with Tyler falls through, though, last season’s wildly popular mentor Harry Connick Jr. appears to be the second choice for the male lead judging role.
