Hart didn’t get traded at the deadline, now he gets 3 more years.

Hart and the Brewers agreed to a 3-year $26.5 million contract to buy out Hart’s last arbitration year and two free agent years.

Hart is having the best year of his career hitting .288 with 23 HRs and 72 RBIs. His career high for HRs is 24 and for RBIs it’s 91.

Hart was selected to the All-Star game by the players, and started in place of injured Jason Heyward.
