NCAA News: Big Ten Announces Plans For Confrence Title Game

Confrence Commissioner Jim Delany spoke about the confrence’s plans at Media Day.

Next season will end in a confrence title game for the Big Ten. A confrence title game was one of the key reason’s the confrence looked into adding schools this summer, and eventually added Nebraska.

Delany didn’t say where the title game would be played or whether or not it would be rotated, but he did announce that they are looking to sell the naming rights to the game.

Delany also said he expected the confrence to go to 9 confrence games during the regular season as soon as teams could based on current schedule obligations, which could be 2-4 years.

Delany said he expects to announce confrence alignment plans in the next 30-45 days.
