NFL News: New York Jets CB Darrell Revis Is A Camp Holdout

News

He says he’s not coming to camp until he gets a new deal. That could take a while.

The Jets and Revis have had conversations in the past week about a new contract, but Revis has rejected two offers from the Jets.

Sources say the two deals contained no guaranteed money and wouldn’t have paid him more than Oakland Raiders CB Nnamdi Asomugha.

Revis will be fined $16,523 a day until he gets into camps. His holdout also voids clauses in his contract that would have guaranteed him $20 million over the rest of his current contract.
