The Minnesota Vikings have reportedly offered to raise Favre’s salary this season from $13 million to $16 million along with addition incentives that could push the salary all the way up to $20 million.
Doubt surrounding yesterday’s report of Favre finally retiring has crept in almost as soon as the news broke with many of his closest friends in the leauge saying Favre has made no decision on his future yet.
Neither Favre nor his agent Bus Cook have made a public announcement one way or the other on the subject.
