Poster Watch: Gorgeous Artwork Unveiled for Drafthouse Tour

News, Projects

This Friday, the Alamo Drafthouse will begin their 2010 Rolling Roadshow tour — kicking things off with a screening of Jackie Brown at Los Angeles’ Del Amo Fashion Mall.

Besides being a kick-ass theater, the Alamo Drafthouse is also known for the incredible limited run posters their sister company Mondo Tees puts out on a regular basis. To commemorate this year’s tour, the Drafthouse and Mondo Tees are releasing a series of posters that will only be available on the tour stops. Each of the prints is designed by artist Olly Moss and, boy, are they something to look at.

Here are some of my favorites:

While I’m sure some of the prints will eventually wind up on eBay, these pieces of art will initially only be available to buy at the free screenings as the Alamo crosses the country. To see the rest of the prints, watch vintage trailers for the movies being shown and learn more about the tour, visit Apple’s Rolling Roadshow page. Anybody want to pick up one of these prints for me?
