The Other Guys Censored Clips Reel and Recruitment Video Loads of Fun

News, Trailers

We’re just a few days away from the release of The Other Guys. Some early reviews say it is the best comedy Will Ferrell and Adam McKay have done together since Anchorman. Check out this oddly censored clip reel (where you can learn such “cop speak” terms as “Desk Pop” and “Soup Kitchen”) and a Funny or Die recruitment video.

The first clip comes courtesy of the British tabloid The Sun. Weird censorship rules abound but it provides a lot of good laughs. Mark Wahlberg looks to have been bitten by the comedy bug. Earlier this year his limited role in Date Night provided one of the best uses of the f-word in a PG-13 comedy.

The next clip from Funny or Die features Will Ferrell as his Allen Gamble character. Love the intensity. It’s like watching an actor go batshit crazy in a role, especially not knowing if he/she could get that vocal. (But we all know that Ferrell is a big man-child who can scream like a banshee.) The Other Guys opens on August 6th and co-stars Eva Mendes, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Steve Coogan and Micahel Keaton.

He's told that the position is his until he's dead or if "The Boss" can find somebody better. I expect the best and I give the best. Here's the beer. Here's the entertainment. Now have fun. That's an order!
