Spike TV will be broadcasting the UFC 118 weigh-ins live at 7pm ET on August 27th. This follows the cable station’s broadcast of the UFC 116 weigh-ins, which secured an impressive 645,000 viewers. That was originally planned to be a one-off special but its success has convinced Spike and the UFC to do the same for the organization’s Massachusetts’ debut. UFC 118 is headlined by the World Lightweight Title Fight between Frankie Edgar and former champion BJ Penn and also features the eagerly anticipated fight between UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture and champion boxer James Toney.
