Due to Savant’s inability to normally perceive time, the torture he endured protecting Oracle from the Calculator and the Secret Society of Supervillains, keeps appearing to him as something that happened so freshly, so recently, that at any given time it happened as recently as the day before. He can’t forgive it as his mind won’t let him even move past it.
Ironic as the reason he was able to withstand the torture in the first place is that his mind made it seem much, much shorter than it was.
