Geoff has commented that one of his favourite peojects has been Batman Earth One with Gary Frank. One of the big reasons is not having to deal with history and continuity plus he gets to write a different kind of Batman story. In DC’s main universe, Batman is good at almost everything, but in Earth One he is at ground zero of his career learning how to be a hero. He’s not as accomplished yet.
Interesting that not dealing with continuity makes it one of his faves considering Geoff Johns has made his career on knowing continuity and enhancing / building on it.
