For those not aware, Lantern Bzzd was Mogo’s sector partner in Green Lantern Corps after the title relaunched, and despite being no larger than a housefly, was a valued member of the Corps. Bzzd died helping to defeat Mongul, and was later briefly returned as a Black Lantern in Blackest Night. The inclusion of the character tells me that they’re going to be throwing us sexy Easter Egg after sexy Easter Egg in this movie, especially when the Corps is concerned.
This is not a bad thing.
