After needing 12 stitches, the team is taking it cautiously with Manning.
Manning went to the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan to have his gash examined and determine how quickly Manning can get back to full participation.
“I don’t have a whole lot of information because anytime you have an injury which is a head injury, you do all kinds of tests and they are in the process of doing that right now,” said Giants coach Tom Coughlin on a confrence call.
The Giants’ medical staff is trying to figure out how Manning can practice with a helmet on since the gash is on his forehead and that could impact the healing of the wound.
