Danielson had to back out of an 8/28 date with NYWC due to teaming with John Cena and Chris Jericho to face the Nexus on a WWE house show that night. With that the case, Danielson has made good with the company, agreeing to instead work for them 9/11.

That date is significant for Danielson (I mean beyond it being significant for everyone) due to a previous independent date that afternoon for Gabe Sapolsky’s Evolve where he will face Minoru Sawa in a highly anticipated match. Along with that, ROH will be holding an iPPV that night, likely at which ROH World Champion Tyler Black will have to lose the title due to Tyler reporting to FCW with which Danielson will now be competing.
