Joss Whedon's Angel Returns To Dark Horse

News, Top Story

So this past week Dark Horse released a one shot called Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Riley, and in the back there was a column called Horsepower by Dark Horse’s senior managing editor, Scott Allie. What did he have to say?

“What’s next for the Whedon clan and Dark Horse? How about a Dollhouse comic written by Jed and Maurissa, who wrote key episode of the show, and the return of the Angel series to Dark Horse in late 2011, in tandem with our Buffy Season 9 relaunch?”

So Buffy Season 9, Angel tieing into it, and Dollhouse in book forum. I think it’s high time I started reading more Dark Horse!

Angel has been published by IDW since 2005, and the stories are considered a part of the Buffy canon….unlike the previous Angel volumes by Dark Horse. This will be the first time that the entire Whedonverse has been under one roof since Buffy Season 8 started.
