Lou Pinella announced today that he will step down after todays game. Pinella had originally said he would be stepping down at the end of the season, but has sped up his decision.
The Cubs have already announced that Third Base coach Mike Quade will manage the rest of the season and the rest of the coaching staff will stay on board.
