Former Cleveland Cavaliers general manager Danny Ferry will reportedly return to the San Antonio Spurs’ front office.
Ferry reportedly will replace Dell Demps, who was the Spurs’ director of pro personnel. Demps was named the New Orleans Hornets’ general manager in July.
Ferry led the Cavs through the most successful period in their history, peaking with their Finals appearance in 2007, the club’s first.
Ferry played the last three seasons of his 13-year career with the Spurs and spent two seasons in San Antonio’s front office as director of pro personnel before joining the Cavaliers.
