Bleeding Cool has an article up talking about Diamond and the fact that they’ve begun shipping to some shops on Tuesdays, enabling them to have everything set up for selling books come Wednesday morning. Well, some stores still get their stock on Wednesday and struggle to get everything going as the customers come in looking for their new material. And despite the books being released to stores on Tuesdays, they’ve been good about not releasing things early.
Well, apparently after the turn of the year it’s going to shift so that all stores receive their books on Tuesdays, which could transition to new titles being released to the public on Tuesdays.
Bleeding Cool is expecting an official announcement next week.
As for me, I’d be happy if Diamond would just start listing Invincible and The Unwritten so that I know that they’re going to be in my stack when I get to the damn shop.
