Following Dan DiDio’s confirmantion of at least 2 Batman in the DCU, comes further Fan Expo news from DC’s co-EIC:
Upon the release of “Batman Inc.,” the panel divulged that there will be more than one Batman running around the DCU — different rules, sensibilities, morals, and goals. This came up in reference to Bruce Wayne’s new costume design, set to appear following his return to the present.
“There’s some real character growth that he goes through on this journey,” said DiDio.
I was wondering whether the Club of Heroes would keep their own names or actually don Batman’s costume. Certainly, with a Knight and Squire mini-series out, not a Batman and Squire, perhaps they’ll adopt Batman-like sensibilities as opposed to his actually costume? They’d clearly benefit from his gadgets as upgrades to their existing costumes or if they became a Club of Batmen (Inc.) ;)
