In his successful quest to reclaim the head of Dracula, Namor faced off against the Aqueos, the Atlantean Vampires. And while yes, he is successful, and even cuts their leader in half, it is not enough to kill the fiend. The end result? The Aqueos have declared war on Atlantis, with death orders given to any Atlantean they come across.
