MMA Junkie is reporting that the field has been set for the eight-man Sengoku bantamweight tournament, which wll crown the organization’s first-ever Bantamweight Champion. The fighters involved are Wataru Takahashi (12-13-4 MMA), Shoko Sato (9-3 MMA), Jae Hyun So (6-8 MMA) and Shintaro Ishiwatari (9-3-3 MMA), Manabu Inoue (9-5-1 MMA), Shunichi Shimizu (17-6-9 MMA), Akitoshi Tamura (14-9-2 MMA) and Taiyo Nakahara (10-6 MMA, 0-0 SRC). The brackets for the tournament have yet to be set. The last four will be making their Sengoku debut in the bantamweight tournament. The opening round will take place at Sengoku 15 on October 30th with the final expected before the end of the year.
