The UFC will be heading back to the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec on December 11th for UFC 124, which will be headlined by Quebecer George St. Pierre defending his World Welterweight Title against Josh Koscheck.
This will be an emotional return to Montreal for George St. Pierre, who won his second and current world title in the city by defeating Matt Serra at UFC 83. The Bell Centre was also where Josh Koscheck earned this title shot, defeating Paul Daley in a Final Eliminator. After the fight Koscheck insulted the French Canadian fans, further antagonising St. Pierre’s passionate home fans.
