Suh put a violent hit on Browns QB Jake Delhomme and the Browns want the league to take a second look at the play.
Suh ran down Delhomme who was scrambling out of the pocket, grabbed his facemask, twisted and wrapped his hands around Delhomme’s head and drove him into the ground. Suh did recieve a 15 yard penalty on the play.
Mangini said at his news conference Monday that he will ask the league to investigate the play, but he assumed it would do so anyway. The league was reportedly already looking into the play.
Mangini didn’t think it was any intent to injure Delhomme on Suh’s part, just a poor decision. “When I met the kid, he was a good kid,” Mangini said. “I don’t think he’s a malicious guy, from what I know about him. It was just a poor decision.”
